Turn to God

Description

Turn to God and communicate fearful or anxious thoughts to Him. You will find security in His presence.

Trust Me, beloved. Every time you have an anxious, fearful thought, you need to take multiple looks at Me. Speak My Name to remind yourself I am near, ready to help you. Quote Scripture back to Me: “I trust in You, O Lord; I say, ‘You are my God.’ My times are in Your hands.” Express your love to Me, saying: “I love You, O Lord, my Strength.” Remember that I—your Savior and King—take great delight in you. You’re a cherished member of My royal family forever!

Connecting with Me interrupts the negative thoughts that tend to course through your mind. So the more consistently you communicate with Me, the freer you will become. Since I am the Truth, living close to Me helps you recognize and break free from distortions and lies.

Trusting and loving Me are at the very core of your relationship with Me. These beautiful ways of drawing near Me protect you from being too focused on yourself and your fears. Turn to Me over and over again—secure in My sheltering Presence.

But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me. -Psalm 31:14–15

I love you, Lord, my strength. -Psalm 18:1

The Lord your God is in your midst; he is a warrior who can deliver. He takes great delight in you; he renews you by his love; he shouts for joy over you. -Zephaniah 3:17 NET

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” -John 14:6 NKJV
