Trust His Plan

It’s okay if we don’t understand it all. Our job is to trust and let Him work.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

As you consider this verse, imagine a wall. One side is the trust you put in God. The other is the straight path He gives us when we do trust Him. Too many times, though, instead of trusting Him we try to negotiate thinking we know our needs better than our Creator does. What would happen if we let Him negotiate with us and trusted His plan instead of ours?

The Bible clearly tells us that if we trust God and lean on Him, we will find ourselves on the other side of that wall on a straight path. It’s okay if we don’t understand it all. Our job is to trust and let Him work.

Ask God to help you surrender those things you keep trying to handle yourself. Trust His direction and step out on the path in faith.

Write down today’s verse and put it in a prominent place so you see often. Let it remind you of what putting your trust in God will produce in your life.
