Zero Tolerance for Compromise of God's Holy Word

Having my quiet time early this morning, Jesus challenged me to never compromise His Holy Word, the Bible. I have the privilege of addressing students from the University of Pretoria this Friday night, and some of the finest young minds in our nation will be present.

I love speaking to young people because they want it straight, simple, and truthful. In order to accomplish this task, I dare not compromise God’s Holy Word, if I do there will be no anointing and no power. In fact, the Holy Spirit will not be present at the meeting, and for me that would be a nightmare.

If we are to see lives changed forever, healed and set free, and envisioned, then the truth has got to be spoken, always in love… then we are sure to see the power of God manifest, tangibly.

The Word of God, in the book of Revelation, says:

“I know you inside and out, and find little to my liking. You’re not cold, you’re not hot – far better to be either cold or hot! You’re stale. You’re stagnant. You make me want to vomit. You brag, ‘I’m rich, I’ve got it made. I need nothing from anyone’, oblivious that in fact you’re a pitiful, blind beggar, threadbare and homeless.” – Revelation 3:15-17 (The Message ).

As Believers, we all have a mandate from Jesus to bring light into darkness, and to speak the truth in love so that the captive may be set free, and so that people may experience true freedom.

People don’t have to like you but they must respect you!
