You’re Not A Failure

Description
I went from feeling so excited to feeling so embarrassed!
I was really looking forward to a fun interview at our local Christian radio station. At the last minute, my babysitter wasn’t able to help me and I almost cancelled, but then I decided on plan B. I’d just take my 5-year-old daughter with me along with her iPad and some earphones.
Things were going great. We pulled up to the radio station right on time. I grabbed my purse and hopped out of the car to get my daughter, but her door wouldn’t open. It was locked and so were my keys - in the car with my 5 year old.
I didn’t know what to do. No one was home to bring me extra keys. Finally I decided to call 911 and within minutes two fire trucks pulled up. Oh they got my daughter out quickly and she was fine, but I felt like such a failure!!
That day God had to remind me that just because I failed - it didn’t mean I was a failure. It just meant I was a mom who needed to learn a lesson and make sure I had my keys in my hands the next time.
