You Have a Personal Agent

Are you dealing with difficult issues and feeling overwhelmed? If so, then call Jesus and ask Him to be your Agent.

“But as it now is, He [Christ] has acquired a [priestly] ministry which is as much superior and more excellent [than the old] as the covenant (the agreement) of which he is the Mediator (the Arbiter, Agent) is superior and more excellent, [because] it is enacted and rests upon more important (sublimer, higher, and nobler) promises.” (Hebrews 8:6, AMP)

In the world of professional sports and entertainment, it is common practice to have an Agent. Your Agent can have a huge impact on your visibility (marketability), income and level of success. Agents typically meet with team owners, industry executives, the media, sponsors, and promoters. Agents present your stats and track record; negotiate contracts, royalty payments, perks and benefits, travel arrangements, endorsements, and public appearances. Your Agent must be some-one you trust to represent you and act in your best interest. In exchange for their services, Agents collect large fees and royalties. Incidents of Agents mismanaging or misusing client funds is sadly a familiar story.

As Christians, we never have to worry about this problem. We have El Shaddai (God Almighty). We never have to doubt or question His credentials, motives or level of sincerity. Jesus, Our Divine Mediator or Agent, gave His life for us. With Jesus, there are no contracts to sign or checks to write. He is totally trustworthy, faithful, and dependable, and He is on call 24/7. Understand Jesus doesn’t represent just anyone. He works by invitation only and has some restrictions. You must: (1) invite Him into your heart and surrender your life to Him completely (2) be prepared to leave your old life behind and live a new life in Him (3) believe in Him and Him alone (4) be ready to come out of the darkness and into the light (5) leave selfishness, fear, doubt, and unbelief behind (6) understand that love, compassion, righteousness, obedience, and faithfulness are required and always rewarded.

Are you dealing with difficult issues and feeling overwhelmed? If so, call Jesus and ask Him to be your Agent. Trust Him to give you what you need according to God’s Word. As your Agent, He’s always at work on your behalf. His help and assistance lasts for an eternity. Do you know Him? If not, call Him today. He eagerly awaits your call!

Lord, thank you for your New Covenant! that guarantees life and eternal salvation. Jesus, help me to trust you more each day and to turn every area of my life over to you. Through the blood of Jesus and in the name of Jesus I pray, amen.
