You Are Not an Accident

Description

Perhaps your parents didn’t plan you—but God did. In fact, He expected you and smiled. God never does anything by accident, and never makes mistakes.

Your birth was not an accident. Perhaps you’re like me and your parents didn’t plan you—but God did. In fact, He expected you and smiled.

Long before the universe was ever made, in eternity past–before your parents could’ve even thought of you–you were planned in God’s heart.

There may be illegitimate parents, but there’s no such thing as illegitimate children.

Before you were a twinkle in your parents’ eye, you were a sparkle in God’s.

You’re not here by random chance. You’re alive because God wanted you to be.

Every single detail of your body and being was sculpted.

God never does anything by accident and never makes mistakes. He has a reason for everything He creates, including you.

He chose your ethnic background, the color of your eyes, your gender, the location and the time in history you’d be born.

He determined your natural talents and has given you supernatural spiritual gifts through Jesus.

Let the words of our God, through King David, shape your soul:

“For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in Your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with You.” - Psalm 139:13-18 (ESV)
