;

You Are a Letter from Christ

Description

Imagine Jesus Christ reaching out from His throne and using His finger to write a letter on the hearts of all the saints.

“You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with Ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”  (2 Corinthians 3:3, NIV)

Paul says we are not written with ink, but with the Spirit of the Living God.  Imagine Jesus Christ reaching out from His throne and using His finger to write a letter on the hearts of all the saints. My spiritual eyes can see the letter. I am astonished and in awe as I read His words,

“To Gary, My Beloved Son,

You are a Mighty Man of Valor, Firstborn Son and Priest of the Selman House. Yes, you ran away and spent many years in the world, but like all the Prodigal Sons before you, you came to your senses and came home.  I am personally inviting you to join me and all the saints in a joyous celebration to commemorate your return.  As the Living Word, I’ve bathed you in my blood.  As a result, you are fully reconciled, redeemed, restored, healed and delivered from all sin, destruction and death.  I’ve laid out a choice robe for you and a gold ring that bears My seal, the Dove of Peace.  I’ve blessed you with a new heart and a renewed mind.  I gave you a deep hunger and thirst for My Word and My ways.

As a Spiritual Son of Abraham, you’re an heir to every promise I made in My Word.  I’ve enabled you to receive My Word, so that you can live by faith and not by sight.  I’ve even promised you abundance in every area of your life.  Because of My blood, there is nothing broken, missing or needed in your life.  I’ve blessed you with My anointing that you might be a blessing to others.  I’ve anointed and called you to walk in humility, love, compass-ion, self-sacrifice and service to others.  Lastly, I’ve given you my perfect peace and even promised that I will never leave you or forsake you.  We will talk again soon. Peace and blessings to you and yours, I love you.”

Faithfully Yours,

Jesus Christ, Your Lord and Savior,

Father, thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ.  Holy Spirit, help me to be Christ-like in all I do and say. May the words written on my heart transform me and be evident to the world. Through the blood of Jesus and in the name of Jesus I pray, amen.
