Wisdom is Crying Out

Description

Do you have wisdom? The Bible tells us that wisdom is the principle thing. It tells us that with it, we’ll have success; without it, we’ll fail.

Wisdom! The Bible tells us it’s the principle thing. It tells us that with wisdom, we’ll have success; without it, we’ll fail. The Bible exalts wisdom greatly and we’re told it’s more valuable than ANYTHING we can desire. It also says if we lack wisdom, we can ask God in faith and He’ll give it to us.

So where do we get this extremely valuable item? Solomon, who God called the wisest man, wrote this: “Wisdom calls aloud outside; she raises her voice in the open squares. She cries out in the chief concourses, at the openings of the gates in the city she speaks her words” (see Proverbs 1:20-21). In other words, wisdom is raising her voice to us everywhere we go! Through the Bible, church services, the internet, books, people, teaching CDs & DVDs, seminars, and in so many other ways, we have constant access to wisdom. I’ve heard nuggets of wisdom when watching a movie, listening to a song, and overhearing someone talking at Starbucks. Wisdom is all over the place!

Several times in the book of Proverbs we are instructed to get wisdom. I pray you’ll take at least a few minutes today to seek after and get wisdom to help your life. It’s not hiding. It’s out in the open. Are you getting it? I hope you are.
