Where Do Priests Function?

00:00

Description

We who are the believer priests in the New Testament have the proper location for service and for worship, Heaven itself.

The priests were the only people who could minister to God, and they were the only ones who could offer sacrifices to God, and they were the only ones who could enter into the proper location to worship God. Priests are the right people, doing the acceptable things in the right place. When the priesthood was formed in the Old Testament, the place to meet God was the tabernacle. Only the priests were permitted to enter into the most sacred place in the tabernacle.

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 "Tell the sons of Israel to raise a contribution for Me; from every man whose heart moves him you shall raise My contribution.

8 "And let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them.

9 "According to all that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, just so you shall construct it.

 (Exodus 25:1-9)

We who are the believer priests in the New Testament have the proper location for service and for worship, heaven itself. We can come confidently into the presence of God because he has designated us as priests.
