I wanted to get my husband a few things he wanted for Christmas and some things he needed, but it all felt so temporary.
I wanted something JJ wouldn’t just open for Christmas morning, but a gift that would be meaningful to him long after the Christmas tree was down.
I remembered that I have an old wooden box my husband loves that I could fill with 365 Bible promises, and personalize them by putting his name in each one. I printed them out individually and filled the box and now I can’t wait until he opens it and reads Jeremiah 29:11, “JJ, I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you.”
I love knowing my husband will open this gift not just on Christmas morning but everyday next year.
