When Two or More Are Gathered

What should you do when you are struggling to get out of bed and get to church?

I don’t want to go to church; I’m too tired!

That sounds like something one of my kids would say, but those were MY thoughts last Sunday morning!

After a long week at work with several deadlines and a Saturday packed with home improvement projects, I just wasn’t up for another meeting. Then God reminded me how the Bible says that when two or more people are gathered together to seek Him, His presence is experienced in a powerful way. So when people who love Him come together for church, it’s not just another meeting, it’s a time to meet with Him in a special way.

I don’t know if you ever struggle to get up for church like I did, but if you do, try thinking of it as a chance to meet, not just with other people but also with God. In a way that only happens when two or more are gathered in His name!
