Have you ever thought about what makes you feel loved by God? 

One morning I asked my son Andrew what makes him feel loved. I was expecting him to say he feels loved when I do things for him or buy him something new.

But instead, Andrew said that me being with him and me being there for him is what makes him feel loved. Later, I thought about his answer and wondered—If God asked me what makes me feel loved by Him, what would I say?

My answers were the same as Andrew. It’s knowing God’s always with me. That He cares about me. It’s the promises He’s made and kept that remind me of His love again and again.
