What is True?

Your worth is not determined by what you believe about yourself, your worth is determined by what God says is true about you.

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

Your worth is not determined by what you believe about yourself, your worth is determined by what God says is true about you. God says:

You are loved…John 3:16

Your are forgiven… Acts 10:43

You are precious…Luke 12:24

You are beautiful… Isaiah 61:3

You are mine…I Chronicles 29:11

Moms, you need to learn God’s truth about you and believe it with all your heart. Once you learn it, you need to teach it to your children. You cannot teach what you do not know. Satan works against all of us to get us to believe our “worth” is wrapped up in what we accomplish, how we perform, if we are “important” in the eyes of the world. But, God tells us that we are important in His eyes and that is all that matters. If I am able to believe that in my own life and then teach it to my children, then I consider myself blessed. There are lots of times in my life when I

If I believe the lie that my worth is tied to my achievements and then I fail...I become depressed, and simply feel like a loser. But, when I take that thought captive and renew my mind that my worth is not determined by my accomplishments, but determined by my Savior, Jesus Christ, I am victorious. The Bible teaches that the truth will set you free. I am choosing to believe God’s truth and to be free!

Father, I admit I struggle with this every day. It is hard tune out the lies the world tells me about myself and it is even harder to tune out the lies I am telling myself. God, I ask You now, boldly and humbly, to help me take captive these thoughts-renew my mind with the truths of my identity in You.  Thank You God for the truth in Your word...and the beauty of living in freedom.
