What Is Indispensable for a Disciple?

Description

Better understanding the Word of God and reading it every day are essential priorities for you as a disciple.

This week, we’ve seen that “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.” (see the Bible, Luke 6:40)

Becoming and growing as a disciple of Jesus takes time ... in reality, it takes a whole lifetime! But one thing is truly important along the course of this journey: spending time with Jesus.

Marie-Line from Guadeloupe sent me this testimony: “By reading ‘A Miracle Every Day,’ I am now convinced that God is alive. He asks me to always trust Him in my moments of doubt and difficulty; that’s what I’m working on doing. My view of others has changed; I’m more tolerant. My priority is better understanding His Word to obey Him, and I’ve decided to read my Bible every day.”

Better understanding the Word of God and reading it every day are essential priorities for you as a disciple. Because as you read it, you:

  • Receive His instructions,
  • Understand His heart,
  • And discern His will.

In this way, you’re able to live faithfully according to what it says so that you can live the life God desires for you!

May God bless you throughout this day!
