What if Your Mistake Could Launch You Forward?
Description
How do you react when you make mistakes? For example …
- How do you feel after sending an email to the wrong person?
- Or take your anger out on your children?
- Or forget to pay an important bill on time?
- Or forget to properly acknowledge someone?
Most of the time, we don’t handle our mistakes well ... we’re often riddled with guilt. But if we really think about it, our mistakes are precious: they teach us to do better. Someone once said, “Making mistakes just means learning faster.”
Today, see your mistakes for what they really are: a step, a launching pad to learn more quickly and do better. And not a guillotine, the sword of Damocles looming above your head, or permanent condemnation.
The Bible says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1)
There is nothing that can condemn or accuse you any longer. Your mistakes aren’t there to condemn you or make you feel guilty ... they help you learn more quickly.
So, lift your head and receive grace and forgiveness, not condemnation!
