The only way we’ll have access to heaven is by knowing God’s Son. Otherwise, it will be more futile than trying to get into the White House without the right credentials.

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

If you were to drive up to the gates of the White House today and tell them you wanted to see the president, do you think they’d let you in? Fat chance for most of us. But let me tell you about a friend of mine who was invited to the White House by President Ford’s son when Ford was in office. He said it was amazing.

They came to the White House gates, and guards waved them through. They entered the White House with no one stopping them. They even walked right into the Oval Office unhindered. President Ford stood up and welcomed his son, then looked my friend in the eye and said, “Any friend of my son is welcome here.”

That’s exactly how it will be getting into heaven. The only way we’ll have access is by knowing God’s Son. Otherwise, it will be more futile than trying to get into the White House without the right credentials.

Do you know God’s Son personally? He really is the key for entrance into heaven.
