Transformation

Description

As our thought patterns are transformed to reflect the mind of Christ, we begin to gain an eternal perspective.

The work of transformation begins in the heart and then moves to the mind. As our thought patterns are transformed to reflect the mind of Christ, we begin to gain an eternal perspective. This perspective is the springboard for living differently right where we are. We begin to realize that there is a different way to look at things – God’s way. There is a different way to respond – as Jesus did. There is a new way to live – under the influence of the Spirit.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.—Romans 12:2

Prayer: God, show me where I have been settling for conforming to the world’s pattern of thinking, living and leading. Bring to my mind Your perspective, Your truth, about my life and my leadership. Remind me of Jesus’ example and teaching. Breathe on me, Holy Spirit, and live through me. Let my mind and my life reflect Your presence. In Jesus’ Name.
