Top of Her Class

Read a story of hope from Bangladesh's capital city.

In Bangladesh’s capital city of Dhaka, 14-year-old Bithi Aktar used to work with her mother as a housekeeper. Since graduating from World Vision’s street children education program, she has enrolled in public school while still earning a modest living for her family. She hopes to continue her studies and become a doctor.

Pray that children who work, but want to go to school will be able to do so.

“Lord, bring hope to children who cannot attend school because they work. In Your mercy, open up opportunities for them to learn and prepare for vocations that are safe and provide a stable life.”
