Today, Put on Christ's Character!

Just as we get dressed each morning before going out, we need to “put on” Christ.

What adjectives would you choose to describe yourself? Some people may think of words for themselves like angry, impatient, jealous. Others might prefer qualities like joyful, generous, humble, etc.

God’s desire is that we put on the character of Christ. Just as we get dressed each morning before going out, we need to “put on” Christ.

The Bible explains Christ’s character to us in Galatians 5:22-23: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”

Think of these different aspects of the fruits of the Spirit as character traits and ask God that your character be marked by His love, peace, joy, patience, kindness, and gentleness today...

God desires for you to be increasingly marked by and filled with His Spirit.

We are praying for you, and believe that God is moving in your life, even now!
