To Your Health!

Community health volunteers in Kenya sing and dance.

The community health volunteers trained by World Vision are the first line of health defense for mothers and children in their communities.

They are able to diagnose and treat three of the top killers of children under the age of 5: pneumonia, malaria, and diarrhea. They monitor the health of mothers and children so that they are able to access more advanced care when it’s needed.
