1 Thessalonians 4: 9-11 (New Living Translation)

9 For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us. 10 Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever. 11 So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.”

Here’s how easy it is to be saved by God, and please feel free to disagree with me if you want. It’s very simple. Romans 10: 9-10 summarizes it best:

9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

There’s only three critical things to understand about God’s salvation:

1. Accept that Christ is my boss. 
2. Believe that God sent Christ to die for me on the cross. 
3. Believe God raised Christ from death by His power.

If I choose to believe in these three basic things, I am saved!
