The Path to Spiritual Maturity
Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God (Hebrews 6:1).
Becoming a believer is all about repentance, which is a 180 degree turn away from sin. But it’s not a one-time thing; it’s a journey. To make it through the journey, we must align ourselves with the path that God has created for us.
If you have put your trust in Christ, who has taken your past junk and funk, He is leading you down that path... a path towards maturity. The path to spiritual maturity is intentional. We must keep moving on. Don’t get stuck at one stage on your journey to spiritual maturity and miss out on all that God has planned for you.
Thank God for all He has done in your life, and listen to what He is challenging you to do next.
Think about how you can really get connected. If you haven’t taken that very first step of repentance, contact your local church to discover just what it takes to get on the journey of a lifetime!
