The Importance of Being Humble

Description

We don't have to try figure things out on our own. God longs to pour out His wisdom to humble, listening hearts.

Have you been praying for the Lord to show you His ways, to guide you? As a loving father and wise teacher, He longs to pour out His wisdom to humble, listening hearts. We don't have to apologize to Him for not being able to figure things out on our own. That is actually a waste of time, and a symptom of pride. Where do you need the Lord to teach you today?

Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right teaches them his way. All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant (Psalm 25:8-10).

Prayer: Lord, it's actually somewhat freeing to admit that there are some things I simply don't know. Sometimes relationships baffle me, or I need help with a decision. Will You show me Your way today? I ask in Jesus' name, amen.
