The Impact of the Savior's Birth

Have you made the decision to follow the Savior?

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.' (Luke 2:13-14).

The Bible tells us that as the shepherds were keeping watch over their sheep, and as they pulled an all-nighter, ‘suddenly’ the angels appeared. In that moment, in that instant, the shepherds’ lives were forever altered. But they had a response to make.

We each have an opportunity to experience a moment, an instant that can change everything for us. For those of us who have stepped over the line of faith, this is a chance to celebrate that reality and share it with those we know. For those who haven’t, this moment is the one that can change you forever. Have you made the decision to follow the Savior? Has that moment changed your life?

Thank God for the reality that He sent His Son to the earth. Thank Him for the moment you realized who Christ is. And if you haven’t, pray for God to reveal Himself in a moment that you will never forget.

Relive the moment that changed the world. Read (out loud) the entire account of Jesus’ birth found in Luke 2 with family and friends.
