The most important thing you can do is be born again. Being religious isn't enough. Religion is man's attempt to reach God. But through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which pays for our sin, God has made His attempt to reach mankind. That, and that alone, is the way to eternal life, whether you're good, bad or ugly.
