I wanted to give my son Josh a really meaningful graduation gift, but I didn’t know what to get him! Hi, I’m Renee Swope with Proverbs 31 Ministries.

I have a friend who came up with a great gift idea– she finds verses in the Bible to personalize for people she knows.

I decided that’s what I’d do for Josh. So I found promises in the Bible that would mean a lot to him and then I put his name in each verse. Then I printed them out individually and I placed them in a really cool masculine keepsake box.

One day he’ll read – Jeremiah 29:11, “Joshua, I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

And then another day he’ll read – Psalm 16:11, “Joshua, I will make known to you the path of life.“
