Whether they’re young or old, living at home or far away, how encouraging would it be for your children to know that you will be praying for them?

This Christmas, I want to give my kids something that will last a lifetime.

Recently I read an article that said Billy Graham’s mother had the greatest influence on his life.  She’d gather the family to read the Bible and pray together. She and his dad would pray for Billy every morning.

Isn’t it amazing that Billy Graham has led nearly three million people to Christ and has preached the Gospel to more than 80 million people during his lifetime, and he would say his mother’s prayers marked his life and helped mold his faith?

This Christmas lets give our children the gift of a praying mom. Whether they’re young or old, living at home or far away, how encouraging would it be for them to know you will be praying for them each day in the coming year?
