One of the great characteristics of God the Father in the Bible is that He is a Blesser and a very generous God.

The Father did not only send the Son to rescue humanity but to bless humanity in the most wonderful way. After Christ's death and resurrection, God the Father determined that anyone who trusted the Son would be overwhelmed with blessing. Ephesians 1:3-4 says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ, in harmony with that he chose us in relationship to him before the foundation of the world, in order that we should be holy and blameless before him in love." Notice that every imaginable blessing is ours. The source of that blessing is God the Father; He is the one who richly treated us so. Everything we need for a vibrant love relationship with God and His Son have been totally granted. We do not have to seek blessings. We have to assume that we have them and live accordingly.
