Tears of Compassion

World Vision staff visit families affected by Typhoon Haiyan.

World Vision Philippines staff Crislyn Felisilda (orange and white vest) wipes a tear as both she and Joy Monsales begin crying when Joy talks about the terror of Typhoon Haaiyan and the hardships afterwards. With them is WV Philippines staffer Mel Aguilar (gray shirt). Together they are checking on the condition of the Monsales family following Typhoon Haiyan, Tabugon, north Cebu, Philippines. The family's home was destroyed by the typhoon, so the father built a temporary shelter from scrap iron sheets.
