Take-Out Food

Women carry a month’s worth of food supplies as they leave a World Vision-World Food Program food distribution in Somalia.

About 6 million people are facing down starvation in Somalia.

Severe drought conditions continue to worsen and more than 444,000 people have been displaced since November 2016. Many lack shelter and clean water.

Living in unsafe and unsanitary conditions makes health and nutrition problems worse and leads to diseases. An outbreak of measles has affected thousands. More than 17,000 cases of cholera have been identified in the first three months of 2017, more than all the cases recorded in 2016.

Please pray for families affected by drought, high food prices, conflict, and failure of agriculture in Somalia and for the aid workers who help them.
