Alima survived Ebola and is immune to the disease. A mother herself, she provides care to children in an interim care facility for Ebola orphans and children who survived the disease.
There are an estimated 3,500 children in Sierra Leone who’ve lost one or both parents to Ebola. In addition, all the nation’s children suffer because the education and healthcare systems and economy are decimated.
