In the face of spiritual warfare, our armor is a yielded heart and our weapon is the Word.

The focus today is Fighter Verses.

Maybe it's my age or just the paths I've taken, but I look at the fight differently from others. As a retired Army officer I have a tendency to look at it with armor on and weapon in hand. A soldier is defenseless otherwise.

I understand those who secede will face the battle alone. There is no victory in the rebel yell.  Many want to leave the battle - we call it "Going AWOL." They run and run, but they cannot hide.

There is a battle. A battle for the soul. It is ugly and terrifying, but the Victor is Victorious. As long as we don't secede or run away we will see His mighty hand intervene.

But Moses said to the people, "Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the LORD which He will accomplish for you today;...The LORD will fight for you while you keep silent." (Exodus 14:14)

My armor is the yielded heart and my weapon is the Word. The General will succeed. HE IS MY SURVIVAL.

A bird in the nest
A child leaving home
All must survive
Without survival, death
Take away struggle - we have weakness
Take away trouble – we learn nothing
Hard knocks knock us right side up
It’s not survival of the fittest
It is survival of the right.
Sin brings death
Forgiveness ushers in eternal life
The path set out for us is good
Leads to safety
Leads to survival
Leads to Him
Grasp hold of Life
Scream out loud to the world
“No matter what happens I am in good hands!”

Behold, all souls are mine; The soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: The soul who sins shall die. (Ezekiel 18:4)

Turn to Me and be saved, All the ends of the earth! I am God, And there is no other. (Isaiah 45:22)
