Survival
Description
The focus today is Fighter Verses.
Maybe it's my age or just the paths I've taken, but I look at the fight differently from others. As a retired Army officer I have a tendency to look at it with armor on and weapon in hand. A soldier is defenseless otherwise.
I understand those who secede will face the battle alone. There is no victory in the rebel yell. Many want to leave the battle - we call it "Going AWOL." They run and run, but they cannot hide.
There is a battle. A battle for the soul. It is ugly and terrifying, but the Victor is Victorious. As long as we don't secede or run away we will see His mighty hand intervene.
But Moses said to the people, "Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the LORD which He will accomplish for you today;...The LORD will fight for you while you keep silent." (Exodus 14:14)
My armor is the yielded heart and my weapon is the Word. The General will succeed. HE IS MY SURVIVAL.
Behold, all souls are mine; The soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: The soul who sins shall die. (Ezekiel 18:4)
Turn to Me and be saved, All the ends of the earth! I am God, And there is no other. (Isaiah 45:22)
