Strong Women

Our salvation is so great. How can we not be thankful?

Sarafina Hang’andu, 35, Pesia Myeeka, 50, are two members of a 4-person water well repair team in Zambia. They say what they do is because of God’s blessings.

“The community chose us,” says Pesia. “We were just farmers.”

“Right from the beginning, I felt that everything that I have been doing is because of God’s blessings.

“When World Vision came, they asked for women and people who wanted to bring better lives to the community to volunteer. They talked about Christ and how he wants a better life for children.

“I knew this was the right time. I had been waiting for this.

“My relationship with God has improved. Everything has been working smoothly with the pump fixing. I believe it is because everything is done through Christ. I thank God for helping me contribute to my community by fixing the pumps.”

Romans 7:25 - “Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ…” Our salvation is so great. How can we not be thankful?
