Steps to Freedom

Description

Though the plans we make for ourselves sometimes cause frustration and worry, God’s plans always provide peace and freedom.

The steadfast of mind Thou wilt keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in Thee.” (Isaiah 26:3)

Just as the plans we make for ourselves sometimes cause frustration and worry, God’s plans always provide peace and freedom.

Peace and freedom show themselves in every aspect of our lives: release from tension and worry, a clear conscience, and the sure knowledge that God is in control.

We are human, and as such, subject to making mistakes. But once God is in charge of our lives, His divine correction will bring every area under His control.

There are steps to achieving God’s plan. For every promise He makes, He has a condition. In each case, some action is required to bring His power into focus in our lives. That might be prayer, fasting, or simply believing, but it will always require a free act of our wills.

If we are seeking God’s best in this life, we must be willing to submit to His will and His direction.

Pray that you will be able to keep your wishes and desires in line with God’s will for your life so that you will experience peace and freedom and will receive His best for you.
