Speak Boldly

Description

Take a stand! Speak out! Then leave the consequences to God.

Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “We had to speak the word of God to you.” Acts 13:46

Most of us want to share our testimony of what Jesus has done in our lives, but we’re just too afraid! So we’re silent. We back off, opting instead for a “lifestyle” kind of evangelism in the hope that our actions speak louder than words.

Jesus said in Revelation 2:10, “Do not be afraid.” He wants us to take God’s peace, share our testimony, and leave the consequences to Him.

When Queen Esther was challenged to take a stand against Haman’s plotted holocaust of the Jews, she said, “I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish” (Esther 4:16). In the end, she did not perish. The Jews to this day celebrate the Feast of Purim to commemorate her courage and the deliverance of God’s people that was the result of it.

Take a stand! Speak out! Then leave the consequences to God.
