Simple Truth

Description

God is not a God of confusion and His way is simple.

John 14: 6

I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.

We live in a complicated world.  Nothing is easy anymore.  We live in a day and age where you never really know what to do, because once you decide to go a certain way, you find 10 articles on the internet that convince you that way is wrong.  As a mom, we can get so confused.  But, God is not a God of confusion and His way is simple. If we want life, we must go to Jesus—through Him we find God.  It is simple.  The beauty of finding Jesus, is that when we do, He will take care of everything else in our world.  He will guide you, He will direct you, He will give you wisdom, He will take away your anxiety, He will be your provider, He will be your everything.  It is so simple.

If you miss everything in motherhood, don’t miss this one simple truth.  Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.  Jesus is the answer.  As you teach your children how to have manners, how to be polite and treat others, how to learn their ABC's and 1,2,3's, don’t forget the most valuable lesson you will EVER teach them.  Don’t forget to teach them about Jesus.  If you have Jesus, you don’t need anything else.

Prayer

Father, Our world complicates life all the time.  But, God, You keep it simple.  Thank you!  Give me courage to push past the confusion in the world and to trust in You and to have faith in You.  God, thank you for your son, Jesus.  Without Jesus I could never have relationship with you.  I am so grateful for this simple yet amazing truth!
