Share Your Blessings

Lift your head, lift your heart, and seek those people around you who are in need of blessings and be Christ to them.

Philippians 2:1-2 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.

What are some of the blessings we receive by having a relationship with Christ? Encouragement, comfort, sharing in God’s Spirit, tenderness and compassion are all things I’ve experienced in my walk with Him.

So Paul says, if we’ve experienced any of those same blessings, then we should respond by having the same love, the same spirit, the same mind as Christ. We should acknowledge God’s impact in our lives by the way we treat other people; by encouraging them, by providing them comfort and tenderness and compassion; by treating them the same way Christ treats us.

Lift your head, lift your heart and seek those people around you who are in need of these blessings and be Christ to them.
