Share with Others!
He said to the Israelites, "In the future when your descendants ask their parents, ‘What do these stones mean?’ tell them … the Lord your God did to the Jordan just what He had done to the Red Sea when He dried it up before us until we had crossed over,” (Joshua 4:21-23).
Recall: Every memorial we have triggers our memory. But that’s not the only purpose of memorials in our lives. Another purpose is to give us something to point others to. When God does something in our lives, He wants us to tell others about it. We can’t keep it to ourselves.
What has God done in your life that you can share with others? What memorials in your life serve as a constant catalyst to sharing that work?
Ask God to help you build memorials in your life and for the opportunities to share what those memorials mean.
Whether you draw it, write it, paint it, sing it; however you can do it, construct a memorial that reminds you of when you met Jesus. Then, post it to your Facebook wall and pray for it to open a conversation with someone about what it means.
