Jesus sends us in the power of the Holy Spirit to reveal the Father's love and salvation wherever we go.

The gospel accounts of Jesus' life reflect a life lived on purpose. Wherever He went, whatever He did, nothing kept Him from fulfilling God's purposes in each setting. He focused on God's vision for the world and God's purpose for His life. As God sent Him, Jesus sends His disciples. He sends us in the power of the Holy Spirit to reveal the Father's love and salvation wherever we go. Where is He sending you?

Prayer: Jesus, who are You sending me to? Family members, friends, coworkers, people in my community, fellow believers? Help me focus on the Father's vision and purpose as I move into my day. May I single heartedly serve Him in the power of the Spirit, just as You did. In Your name I pray, amen.
