Send It Ahead

Description

Make an eternal investment in kingdom business, a Christ-centered ministry that will not only grant you a place in heaven but the ability to see your reward here on earth.

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.” - Matthew 6:19–20 niv

I've never seen a moving van follow a hearse. But although you can’t take your wealth with you, I am happy to tell you that you can send it ahead! Now before you get too excited about signing up for this heavenly bank account, let me explain what it means to “send it ahead.” You do this by investing in kingdom business, a Christ-centered ministry. You can send it ahead by giving to a ministry that is reaching people with salvation in Jesus Christ. You can send it ahead by financing the missionaries who help save the very souls you will someday meet in heaven. As an added bonus for making this investment, you get some immediate earthly rewards when you see lives saved and transformed. You get to see your reward in the changed lives of those with whom you’ll be sharing eternity.

God’s Word is not only talking about investing in evangelical Christian ministries, but it’s also talking about sharing your wealth with other people in need—giving to the poor and sharing with friends and others who come on hard times. I hope you’ll share out of your abundance. “Sending it ahead” is so much more rewarding than leaving all your wealth behind.
