Seasons of Harvest

Which season of leadership are you in? Plant well, practice consistently, and praise God for your harvest.

Autumn is the time of year typically associated with harvest, even though each crop has its own growing and harvesting season. So, too, each season of life has its own developmental cycle with times of planting, growth, and harvest. In the same way, leadership has a time of planting information and skill, putting into practice, and finally reaping the rewards of our efforts. Which season of leadership are you in? Plant well, practice consistently, praise God for the harvest.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.—Ecclesiastes 3:1

Prayer: Lord God, give me the energy and insight I need to learn, apply, and practice how to better lead like Jesus. May You be exalted in my thinking, development, and behavior. Let my leadership role model point to Jesus so that Your harvest will be multiplied. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
