School for Everyone

Florencio Andre, 14, is an eager seventh grade student in Mozambique.

Children are the future of the world’s nations. Where children are left uneducated, another generation will continue to struggle without life’s basics.

Working with parents, governments, and local communities in the developing world, World Vision helps children learn skills they’ll need for life.

Pray that more children are able to pursue a quality basic education, including girls and children with disabilities, who are often left out.

Lord, Proverbs tells us that an education is invaluable and that we should pursue it, even if it costs everything we have. We praise you that millions more children are getting an education now than a decade ago. We ask for Your continued blessing on World Vision’s work to educate children worldwide. Help us build momentum around the world so every child may go to school and learn how to read and understand basic math.

“How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver!” —Proverbs 16:16 (NIV)
