Safe in Eternity

What are you doing to ensure that your children will be safe in eternity?

These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:6-7

As a responsible parent, I’m sure you do everything you can to assure your children’s safety. But what are you doing to ensure your children will be safe in eternity?

It’s your responsibility and privilege to tell your children about God, about their own sin, about their need to claim Jesus Christ as Savior so their sins will be washed away. And about heaven and how to get there.

God promises in His Word that when we place our faith in Jesus Christ as Savior we will not perish but have everlasting life — a life lived with God and His family in heaven. He instructs us to impress this promise upon our children.

Pray for your children, your grandchildren, your nieces and nephews. Ask God to work on behalf of the children. Then go! Tell a child today how he or she can be safe forever.
