Run for Water
Description
Don Lee, left, waves a Team World Vision flag while Chang-Yu Hsieh, center, and Sonia Lemus run between miles five and six in the 2015 Seattle Rock 'n' Roll Marathon.
More than 170 people ran the race for Team World Vision, collectively raising nearly $130,000 to provide children in African communities with access to clean water.
Team World Vision members all over the U.S. run marathons and other races to bring borehole wells and water systems to villages in Africa. World Vision intervenes so that women and girls don’t have to walk miles daily to collect polluted water for their families to use.
