Refuel and Reenergize

Description

Make sure you spend the bulk of your time and effort with people who will refuel you and recharge your relational battery.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:24-25).

THINK

We all have relationships in life. But have you ever considered the kinds of relationships you have? There are basically three categories: those that are draining, those that are neutral, and those that replenish and reenergize you.

As you go through life, you will experience all three. And that’s good. You need to rub shoulders with all kinds of people. But to get the most out of every day and to maximize the plan God has for your life, make sure you spend the bulk of your time and effort with people who will refuel you and recharge your relational battery.

PRAY

Thank God for creating you for community. Then, boldly ask Him to bring into your life the people who will refuel and reenergize you to discover His plan.

ACT

This weekend, don’t just show up to church. Get lugged in by serving... and discover the kind of people who will energize and encourage you to become all that God has in store!
