Pure Water Sustains

Proudly wearing her school uniform, Mansi, 10, does her homework.

World Vision gave Mansi’s family access to clean drinking water by giving them a water filter. It has made a big difference in their lives.

"Earlier the water contained germs and that used to upset our stomach and that caused illness. My stomach used to hurt,” she says. “It used to feel like a pricking sensation in my stomach. I used to get fever and felt dizzy.”

Diarrhea was a common result of drinking unclean water. They had to visit the doctor frequently.

“Now we got a water purifier from World Vision, and because of that there are no germs in the water. It’s safe to drink now," says Mansi.
