Puppy Problems

Description
Our boys had been asking us for a puppy for over a year.
We had told the boys over and over again how much work puppies were. They would take a lot of time and attention. But eventually, Chad and I gave in and surprised the boys with two cute beagles on Christmas morning.
About 10 days later, Dylan said, “Mom, you weren’t kidding about the puppies. They are a ton of work, and I just need some ‘me’ time.”
Chad and I knew having puppies would develop perseverance and discipline in our boys. Virtues that they, nor you and I, usually develop on our own.
Do you have something in your life right now that feels like more than you bargained for? I do. But, I’m betting God has some long-term goals for every gift He brings into our lives.
