Profiles of Trouble
Description
John Kennedy wrote a book, Profiles of Courage. Sometimes we are “living books” that might be titled, “Profiles of Trouble.” You know the distinctive marks: baggy eyes, somber demeanor, taut speech, sagging shoulders and a drooping walk. Trouble is a drainer. Revival is the renewal of strength and passion for living. The soul is to the body what a big engine room is to a ship in that the soul houses the spirit, which is the “engine.” Revival is God’s Spirit reigniting the human spirit, resulting in vitality, even when we’re a walking “profile of trouble.”
