Price Paid

There were charges against us that were true, and death was the penalty for those charges. Jesus' death paid that debt.

Ephesians 1:7-8 (NIV®)

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.

Jesus of Nazareth changed everything. We have chosen Him to be Lord of our lives because we believe He’s the Christ, the Messiah. He redeemed us and restored us. In Him we have found grace and mercy and hope. There were charges against us that were true, and the penalty for those charges was death.  Jesus said, “I’ll pay that debt.” He paid a price so that you and I might know freedom, and I gladly and gratefully bear His name and call Him Lord.

Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your Son Jesus to pay a price that I could not pay. Thank You that He purchased my freedom and restored me and gave me hope for this life and for eternity. I gratefully bear the name of Jesus, my Redeemer. In His name I pray, amen.
